Bangladesh is a country in South Asia, borders with India to the west, north, and east, Myanmar to the southeast, and the Bay of Bengal to the south. Bangladesh was East Bengal before it became eastern part of Pakistan which was divided from India in 1947, later forms the sovereign part from Pakistan in 1971.
