Las Cruces is the largest city in both Doña Ana County and southern New Mexico. Las Cruces population as per 2020 census is 111,385 compared to 2010 population of 97,618 with the increase number of 13,767 people and growth of 14.1 percent. Las Cruces is the geographic and economic center of the Mesilla Valley, the agricultural region on the floodplain of the Rio Grande extends from Hatch to the west side of El Paso in Texas State.
