Raleigh Metropolitan
The nine-county region, officially named the Raleigh-Durham-Cary combined statistical area (CSA), comprises the Raleigh-Cary and Durham-Chapel Hill Metropolitan Statistical Areas and the Henderson Micropolitan Statistical Area. The Durham-Chapel Hill Metropolitan SA counties are Chatham County, Durham County, Granville County, Orange County, and Person County. Vance County in Henderson Micropolitan SA, Franklin County, Johnston County and Wake County are the counties of Raleigh-Cary Metropolitan SA.
