Seychelles is an island in the western Indian Ocean, consisting of 115 islands in the western Indian Ocean, Located 1,600 km east of Kenya, 1,100 km northeast of Madagascar, 1,500 kilometres east of mainland Africa, nearby island countries and territories include the Madagascar, Mauritius, Comoros. Seychelles was uninhabited prior to sixteenth century. Seychelles population in 2024 is estimated to be 102,397, covers country area of 459 sq km (177 sq mi), ranks one-hundred-eighty-first country by area and the one-hundred-ninty-forth most populous country in the world. Its capital is Victoria, Country code is SYC, Life expectancy of Seychelles ranks ninety-third in the world with average lifespan of 69.98 years for male and 77.15 years for female. Ethnic group wise 93 percent are Seychellois Creoles, 3 percent are British, 1.8 percent are French, 0.5 percent are Chinese, 0.3 percent are Indian and 1.2 percent are other groups. Seychelles official languages are English, French and Seychellois.

From 1990 to 2000, population increased by 11,624 to 81,131, and from 2000 to 2010 the population of Seychelles increase by 8,639 with a change of 10.65 percent and increase of population from 2010 to 2020 by 8,692 with a change of 9.68 percent and make up to 98,462. Seychelles population in 2023 is estimated to be 101,274, population in 2022 is estimated to be 100,151, Population of Seychelles in 2021 is estimated as 99,202.
According to nbs, Seychelles district population in 2021 as below. Seychelles is divided into 26 districts. Eight districts make up Greater Victoria, Mahe with 14, Praslin with 2. Victoria consists of three districts which includes English River, Saint Louis and Mont Fleuri.
